Purpose:  This tense shows that an action is in progress.

Its general form is:
Subject + is/am/are + V4
 
Identifiers:
Now, now-a-days, these days.
Examples:
  • We are discussing tense.
  • I am teaching tense.
  • I am learning tense.
Common Errors:
  •  Where do you work now-a-days?
    Where are you working now-a-days?
Exceptions:
Automatic actions are not used in this tense (effortless actions).
