- The Strategic Force Command (SFC) successfully test fired the nuclear capable Agni-I from Odisha Coast.
- Agni-I missile has range of 700 Km.
- Canadian handset maker Blackberry acquires Virtual identity solution provider Movirtu. With Movirtu’s Virtual SIM platform, both a business number and a personal number can be used on a single mobile device, with separate billing for voice, data and messaging usage on each number.
- Boeing delivers fifth P-8I maritime patrol aircraft to India. This is fifth of eight aircraft supposed to be delivered to India.
