- Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released Economic Outlook 2014.
- According to it, Global GDP growth is projected to reach a 3.3 percent rate in 2014, to 3.7 percent in 2015 and 3.9 percent in 2016.

- Burger King will open 12 outlets in India over next 60 to 90 days.
